Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and junk-removal services provided by YETI Express ("YETI Express," "we," "us," or "our") in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. By booking a job, requesting a callback, or using our site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our services
YETI Express provides on-demand junk-removal services — including pickup, loading, hauling, and disposal of household and renovation items — within Calgary and the surrounding area. Service availability depends on crew schedules, location, and the nature of the items.
2. Estimates, pricing & payment
- Estimates. Prices shown online (single item, half load, full load) are estimates based on the information you provide. The crew confirms the final price on arrival, before any work begins, once they can see the actual items.
- Surcharges. Heavy, awkward, hazardous, or specially regulated items may add a surcharge. You will be told before work starts.
- No deposit. We do not require a deposit or card up front. Payment is due when the job is complete.
- Methods. We accept the payment methods presented at the time of service (which may include card, cash, or e-Transfer). Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider.
3. Booking, scheduling & cancellation
When you book, we will schedule a window and dispatch a crew. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as early as possible. We may reschedule or decline a job due to weather, safety, access issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Your responsibilities
- You confirm you own the items being removed, or are authorized to dispose of them.
- You will provide safe, lawful access to the items and the property.
- You will tell us in advance about any hazardous, heavy, or restricted items.
- You are responsible for removing anything you do not want hauled away before the crew arrives. Once removed, items cannot be recovered.
5. Prohibited & hazardous items
For safety and legal reasons, we may decline to handle certain materials, which can include but are not limited to: hazardous waste, chemicals, solvents, fuel, asbestos, biohazardous or medical waste, ammunition or explosives, and other regulated materials. If we identify such items on site, we may decline to remove them and will let you know.
6. SMS / text messaging terms
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS text messages from YETI Express about your request and job (confirmations, scheduling, dispatch updates, and follow-up).
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle messaging data. We never sell mobile opt-in information.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, YETI Express is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim arising from a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YETI Express from claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of items, or your unlawful disposal of materials through our service.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in Alberta.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
